Clouds and Precipitation

On January 5th to 10th, 1998 a ice storm hit Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Many people had to endure massive power outages;for some died from hypothermia. As for agriculture, many crops were destroyed and animals died; about 10 million liters of milk were trown out. Estimated cost of this ice storm was about $5.5 billion dollars. Ice storms happen when a cold mass ofair and a warm mass of air combines to creat a ice storm.
