This is a tarn lake, it is formed after a reciding glacier deposits melt water into a cirque.

Research a low pressure storm (depression or mid-latitude cyclone) that happened in Canada. Post a picture and describe the storm. When and where did it occur? How did it effect people? Good Luck!

Post a picture of an instrument used to measure a component of the atmosphere. What is it? How does it work? What unit does it measure in?

Research some caves/caverns around the world. Find a picture of the caves you researched. Where are they? What features are found in them? How were they created?...Once done, study for test tomorrow!

Post a picture of a feature of glaciation that you have studied. Identify if it is a continental or alpine feature and explain how it was created. Good luck!

Find a picture of a desert feature you have studied. What is it called and what processes created it? Good luck!

Find a picture of a river landform that you have learned about. Post the picture. What is it and explain the processes that created it. Good luck!

Post# 3 Mass Wasting

Find a picture of a mass wasting event (soil creep, mudslide, landslide, avalanche, etc). Outline the event. When and where was it? Why did it happen? What effects did it have on people?

Post #2 Volcano/Earthquake Hazards

Find a picture of one of the hazards associated with volcanoes or Earthquakes. Explain what the picture is and how it is hazardous to people. Good Luck!

Post #1 Remote Sensing

After you have registered find an air photo or satellite image from the web. Post it and explain what the main use of the image might be. Happy Blogging!
