Rock Pedestal
This is an image of a rock pedestal, it is created when wind blows sand that erodes the base of the rock by abrasion . Rock pedestals are formed over time.
These features are mostly found in arid and semi-arid environments, where violent local winds prevail all year round. They are known for their mushroom appearances because most of the eroded rock happens to be the less resistant rock that lies below the more resistant rock. an example can be seen in Utah, USA.
