It was destroyed by lahar on November 13, 1985 in Armero, Colombia. The lahars swept down from the erupting Nevado del Ruiz volcano and "attacked" the houses, fields, and roads. The buildings were destoryed; trees and other facilities were blown away. Many people were died because of the lahars.
